Marine Corps League Detachments assist in offering support, recovery, and non-medical care for wounded or injured Marines, Sailors, and their families.
Marine Corps League Detachments in nearly every community take part annually in the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys-for-Tots campaign to raise funds and collect and distribute toys to needy children.
Marine Corps League members contribute thousands of man-hours each year supplementing staffs at VA Hospitals and facilities in providing morale, comfort and assistance to institutionalized veterans.
The Young Marines is a youth education and service program for boys and girls, ages 8 through completion of high school. The program focuses on character building, leadership, and promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
The League developed and administers a program through the U.S. Marines Youth Foundation that provides a physical fitness regimen that promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle for elementary, middle school and high school students.
The Military Order of Devil Dogs is the fun and honor society of the Marine Corps League. It promotes good fellowship amongst the members of different Marine Corps League Detachments.
The Auxiliary was formed for the purposes of promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps, the Marine Corps League, Inc., and to protect and advance the welfare of Marines and their dependents.
The National Headquarters retains a full-time staff member who assists veterans in adjudicating claims against the government as a result of active duty service. Claims are processed through the Department of Veterans Affairs or other appropriate agencies of the federal government.
The Marine Corps League is a proud member of The Military Coalition (TMC). TMC is a group of 35 military, veterans, and uniformed services organizations in joint pursuit of common legislative goals.
The Marine Corps League sponsors three Marine Military Expositions each year. “Modern Day Marine” is held aboard MCB, Quantico and is the premier military equipment, systems, services and technology exposition.
